Sixteen Westfield High School student-athletes signed Letters of Intent with colleges and universities, signifying recognition of the seniors’ accomplishments both academically and athletically.

For a fifth consecutive year, the Westfield Public School District has been named one of the “Best Communities for Music Education” in the nation for its outstanding commitment to music education. Additionally, students at both the intermediate and high school level will perform with All-State Ensembles.
Washington 5th grade teacher Matthew Cognetti is the 2022 recipient of the Rotary Club of Westfield’s Philhower Fellowship in recognition of outstanding teaching at the elementary school level
The Westfield Public Schools community demonstrated its considerable civic-mindedness in March, with students across the district packing lunches, designing greeting cards, making care packages, picking up litter, and participating in many other activities as a way of giving back to those in need.
Kudos to members of two WHS teams who competed in February in the MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge, collaborating for 14 consecutive hours and using different modeling processes to try to solve a real-world challenge problem.
