The Innovation Classroom at WHS

A once traditional space at Westfield High School has been transformed into an Innovation Classroom with a digital presentation podium, LED lighting, laptops with computer aided design (CAD) capabilities, motorized window shades, retractable ceiling mounted power cords, furniture on wheels, and more.

Westfield Public Schools observes the Week of Respect with many lessons and activities at each of the district's 10 schools. "Respect is something we practice daily in Westfield Public Schools.  So we called this week the “Week of Extra Respect,” says Superintendent Dr. Margaret Dolan.

WHS Math Teacher Receives Prestigious UChicago Award

Each year, the University of Chicago gives newly admitted students the opportunity to recognize the educators who have made a difference in their lives. Earlier this month, Westfield High School mathematics teacher Zorana Culjak learned that she had been nominated by a former student for the university’s “Outstanding Educator Award.”

WHS Students Achieve Perfect Scores on Summer SAT/ACT

Twenty Westfield High School students were commended by principal Dr. Derrick Nelson for receiving perfect scores on ACT and/or SAT subject tests/areas over the summer. “It speaks volumes about your abilities and commitment to your education,” said Nelson.
